Camp Near Newmanfort
Dear miss it is with much pleasure I take the present oportunity of addressing you a few lines from camp once more I have now strange news to write this time we are still falling back I expect to be in in ten days if not sooner I have not some uneasiness yet the to start to in a few minutes I saw George & gave him the letter you have me for him he is quite well also has reenlisted but is not comeing home I think he had better if he has as good as I did I wish I could get a furlow every week I feal like I was last been now the next time I come home I am as ready to get married and stay thare provided I can get home quick for Wel I will have to stop for I must leave right of I sent you my likeness last I also want yours in return if you pleas I am quite well this morning give my respects to your mama and also the same for your self write soon
